San Francisco (Part 3)

The latest SF venture (yesterday):
We are now SF public transport experts! Lucia and Stella know all the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transport) underground station stops by heart! It takes us about 30-40 mins to get into the heart of SF by bus, BART and MUNI (tram). All for about $9 adult/$3 per child.

We hired our bikes from some cool dudes in North Beach ($93 for 4 bikes for the whole day) and set off on our expedition. Initially we just wanted to ride around the tourist haunts but ultimately we thought we could get up on the Golden Gate bridge. Note: 12:30, sun shining, no clouds......

Note: sun shining, no clouds......

Approaching Golden Gate bridge (in distance) 1pm. Note: Clouds, fog, cold wind!!!!!!

Almost there......

Here we are on the bridge....... we are not alone....... HUNDREDS of people on bikes, joggers etc are up here in 30 knots of wind!!!

Back down on the flat.... NOTE: sun!!!!!

    1. Hi Aratika crew,
Yes, we have been so, so lucky! Sadly, though, our time in SF is coming to an end and next week we are heading up to Toronto and Montreal for 2 weeks for more adventures. We are really excited to read about your adventures and I bet you all can't wait to get up to the tropics! Say hi to mum and dad for us!
      Love, The Triddar Crew.

  2. Hi its Emily and Jasmine remember from school i heard that you just saw Zoe on Skype you showed her a book of yours from school i think.I wish you were here. this is true every day i ask Zoe when is Lulu coming back she says in July.

When you get to Montreal, take the time to go up the road to Quebec City, particularly old Quebec City absolutely fantastic even if it's only for a day trip.

    Love Em and Jas

I hope you're having a wonderful holiday!!! Does getting your ears pierced hurt??????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I REALLY want to know!
We went to New Zealand in the school holidays. we went from Wellington to Wanganui
back to wellington to nelson to karamea. LOVE LUCY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Foarinis!! How is everything? I watched the video of you guys crossing the Golden Gate bridge. Talk about windy! I'm amazed you didn't get blown off the bridge just like leaves near a leaf blower. It's strange that in America you have electric car chargers whereas we don't. We're missing out... On a lighter note, Hawthorn is on top of the ladder!! I love the sweet taste of victory. See you in July, Fletcher
